How you will make a difference

* Responsible for processing, entering and proofing Accounts Payable vouchers and refunds, as well as generating and distributing checks.

How you will spend your time

* Meet the physical and sensory requirements stated below and be able to work in the described environment.
* Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment.
* Provide assistance and support to the Accounts Payable Director (as applicable).
* Serve as the Program Administrator for Suti Expense, Capital One and CareAscend.
* Create weekly budgets for the AP check run via Payment Hub or SQL reports.
* Conduct regular quality assurance checks on Accounts Payable Associates entries.
* Send daily ACH request to Treasury.
* Process and generate the daily ACH files.
* Provide assistance and support to facility staff and Home Office Accounts Payable Associates.
* Address and resolve inquiries concerning vendors and payments.
* Primary check printer.
* Primary processor for Construction.
* Secondary Compassion and Foundation processor.
* Process all invoices for the divested buildings.
* Monitor AP Corporate mailbox for timely processing of invoices.
* Approve all the voids and reissue request.
* Monitor monthly payments of bed taxes.
* Review CareAscend for missing reports.
* Monitor outstanding check reports and vendor statements.
* Serve as back up to processors when out of office.
* Process all onetime payment approvals from Purchasing.
* Serve as a back up to the Integration Specialist.
* Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

The qualifications you will need

* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
* One (1) to two (2) years related experience with computerized A/P accounting systems.
* Strong computer, ten-key proficiency, and spreadsheet skills.
* Good mathematical abilities, including calculating rates and percentages.
* Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
* Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
* Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
* Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
* Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.
* Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change.
* Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.:
