Special Projects MDS / Clinical Reimbursement – Registered Nurse:

with Signature HealthCARE (covering multiple states and locations):

This position requires 2+ years experience as a RN-MDS Coordinator in the long-term care setting
with extensive travel throughout Kentucky and Florida and other states as assigned

We’re currently hiring for the position Special Projects MDS/Clinical Reimbursement- Registered Nurse:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Exhibit competency in all areas of the RAI, Care Planning, PPS, Medicare, and when applicable Medicaid Case Mix.

* Report systems and processes that are not conducive to the customer experience, does not enhance work flow,

* and/or does not promote positive facility outcomes.

* Collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialists in the evaluation/re-evaluation of MDS Coordinator on

* boarding and follow up programs.

* Maintain confidentiality as required under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.

* Comply with Signature Healthcare Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance.

* Function as an MDS Coordinator in a facility with vacancy or upon request and approval

Job Requirements:

* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with ability to obtain multi-state licensures.

* Minimum of two (2) years MDS Coordinator experience in the long term care setting.

* Up to 90% travel, including flying and/or driving.

* Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

* Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet
